Framed letter from Field Marshall Sir Bernard Law Montgomery to Ms. Snively regarding David Turnbull.  Written in 1942 and includes a photograph of Montgomery . Letter is displayed two of four pages, one photograph and the mailing envelope.

Web Shoulder Straps, pair

Two web straps each with a brass fitting on one end. Each strap had two cotter pins punched trough the webbing. [.1] is 43.5cm longer than the other.

Web Belt 37 Pattern

Long strip of webbed cotton used as a belt with metal fitting designed to adjustable. Has a simple designed belt buckle using a hook and eye fixture made of brass with keepers used to hold the buckle in place. In the back of the belt are brass fittings for two shoulders straps.

48th Brass Buttons x 4

4 brass round buttons, small and large, on the front are the words “48th HIGHLANDERS” and a falcon head image, and on the back are the words “WATERBURY BUTTON CO    MADE IN U.S.A.”
