1st Bn, 48th Highlanders,  march behind Colours, for Trooping the Colours, for 50th Anniversary of the Regiment at Redhill, Surrey, UK. Major Bowman and Capt J.C. Clarke. The Trooping of the Colour, marked the 50th Anniversary of the Regiment’s founding in 1891. The ceremony at Redhill Stadium was held on 12 October, 1941. The home battalion, in Toronto, held a similar ceremony on the 12th. Lt. J. M. Bowman carries the King’s Colour in the photo as they march past the Reviewing Stand. P1474
