Large equipment roll stenciled ” Lieut. JCD Desterre 48th Highlanders.   It is 26″ x 50″ heavy cotton.  Brown on one side and strips of white cotton on inside.  Several straps present to tie up roll.

Pte. Mary Ruby Revere- CWAC. The two medals are as follows: one Canadian Volunteer Service Medal (CVSM) with one Overseas Service Bar and clasp, one War Medal 1939-1945. Mary may be related to Pte. Harold C. McKay of the 48th Highlanders (sister?).  Her medals came in the donation package of Harold McKay.
