Images submitted by the public
Images can be submitted to the Museum by any visitor to this site. See “Uploading Images.”
When the Image Upload form is submitted, the attached image(s) is/are automatically saved in the media library and an e-mail notification is sent to museum@48thHighlanders.ca
Actions required
Upon receipt of the e-mail notification:

- Send a reply e-mail to the submitter.
- Determine whether or not to retain the image(s).
- If the image(s) are to be deleted, go to the Media Library and delete the image(s). See Media Library for instruction on deletion of media items.
- If the image(s) are to be retained, the instructions in Adding Images will apply with the exception that, since the image has already been uploaded, the image file name cannot be changed. However, you CAN and must change the TITLE of the image (which the system automatically set to be the same as the file name.) At this point, the image(s) must also be attached to a soldier or an item.
