The Falcon Parade State –  June 2018. 8 1/2″ x 11″. Front cover shows Act of Remembrance in St Andrew’s Church done annually. Colour Officers are saluting Queen’s and Regimental colours laid across the altar. St. Andrew’s Church has been the regiment’s church since the 48th’s founding in 1891 and the Management of the Church Board were one of several Scottish associations in Toronto that successfully petitioned the government for a regiment that reflected their history. In 1891 Toronto’s population were 28% Scottish, either first or second generation.
