Medals in a silver cigarette case. Engraved on the inner lid is ” Presented to RSM G M Stephen by the Officers – 48th Highlanders of Canada – 16 February 1951.

The photograph behind the case shows RSM F Wigmore, MM, CD on the left receiving the Regimental Sergeant Major’s Pace Stick from RSM George W. Stephen at their Change of Regimental Sergeant Major ceremony at University Avenue Armouries in 1951. In the centre is the Commanding Officer, LCol M. E. George, CD.
