Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, II is being given a tour following the official opening of the Museum by Her Majesty. Prince Phillip seems to be admiring her portrait as Princess Elizabeth in 1947, the year in which Her Majesty accepted the role of Colonel-in-Chief of the 48th Highlanders of Canada. Major George Beal, Chair of the Museum who conducted the tour for Her Majesty and Honourary Colonel Brigadier P.A.G. Cameron look on. The museum is located in St Andrew’s Church, the Regiment’s church since the founding of the 48th Highlanders in 1891
