Black metal box 14″ x 10″ x 6″ containing post WW1 awards, badges buttons, uniform parts of S/M William Hawkins. S/M Hawkins served in WW1 and both pre and post war years. Most of these items are duplicates of those in case 21 Sports. All items accessioned and linked.

Cockburn, F. D. – Original 48th Highlander
F. D Cockburn was the 301st person to enrol in the newly formed 48th Highlanders, joining on 7 May 1892 at the age of 32 and was assigned to F Company. He was discharged on 21 April 1893.
Cockburn, George Robert – 48th Original
George Robert Cockburn joined the newly formed 48th Highlanders on 22 October 1891 at the age of 20 and was an “original”, the 63rd person to enrol in the regiment. He was assigned to C Company. He was discharged on 20 October 1893.
Goddard, Arthur Percy – 1906 – 1910

Arthur Percy Goddard enlisted in the 48th Highlanders on 23 April 1906 at the age of 20. He was assigned to E Company. Percy was discharged on 15 April 1910.
