Cpl WATSON, Patrick Balfour

437089 Private Patrick B Watson was a 25 year old bank clerk originally from Dumfries, Scotland with pre war service in the Militia with the 105th Regiment (Saskatoon Fusiliers) when he attested into the 51st Battalion in Edmonton, AB on May 6, 1915. Corporal Watson voluntarily reverted to the rank of Private and was sent as a reinforcement to the 15th Battalion at Hill 60 on June 9, 1916.

He was KIA on June 27, 1916 while the battalion was subjected to heavy artillery and mortar fire in the line near Hill 60, Belgium and all is buried in Railway Dugouts Cemetery.
