Sgt. MALE, CHARLES C.

Killed in action – 15 October 1944 near Cesena on the advance north from Rimini. As part of a group of Scouts under Lt. Rex Johnston their 4-man patrol ran into a German ambush and were wiped out. Three were taken prisoner. Sgt Male was killed. NOK: Son of Joseph and Ellen Male, of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
