Pte Cordick, John Archibald

B127814 Pte Cordick, John (Jack) Archibald attested on 13 November 1942 in Victoria BC. In 1945 he was with the 48th Highlanders in The Netherlands and was appointed acting Corporal on 7 March 1945, participating in Operation Cannonshot, the crossing of the Ijssel River and the liberation of Apeldoorn. He was struck off strength of the battalion to CEF Coy on 6 June 1945 in the Netherlands. (more research needed)
