Lt. GLASS, Edward Drew

After graduating from Western High School (Commerce) Lt Glass worked as a stockkeeper at Simpson’s department store.

He attested into the 48th Highlanders on 5 Sep 1939 as a Private having served in the Reserves since 1937. He was promoted Lt 11 Sep1943. He saw service as a CanLoan Officer with the 1st Bn Gordon Highlanders. He lost his life on Aug 15, 1944

Son of Edward Musgrave Glass and Alma Glass, of Lake View, Ontario.
