C834 Cpl Reginald Heber Harrington

Cpl Reginald Harrington (nickname Jim) served with A Battery, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery before transferring to the 48th Highlanders, 1st Battalion. Padre Stewart East’s records show that Harrington suffered a gun shot wound in his right hand on 22 July 1943, during the battles near Assoro, Sicily (page 272 – Dileas) and again was wounded at the Moro River in Italy on 20 December 1943. He was a member of the United Church.

NOK: Sister: Miss Clara Harrington, 143 Wragge St., Trenton, Ontario.

His brother, B75207 Pte Charles Robert Harrington, also served with the 1st Battalion.
