Official colour portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – 1984, signed. Her Majesty was Colonel-in-Chief of the 48th Highlanders of Canada, having accepted the position in 1947 when she was Princess Elizabeth. The appointment was the first appointment as Colonel-in-Chief by Her Majesty, one of three regiments so honoured on the same day.
