Pocket New Testament

A pocket sized New Testament, that could be carried by a soldier in a jacket or trouser pocket, or in his small pack.

New testaments were not a part of the soldier’s issued kit, but never the less were often made freely available to soldiers by various religious societies to provide the soldier with spiritual comfort while on active service.
