Dear Madam,

I beg to send you the following Searcher’s report concerning Sergt. W. Walker, 27678, which we have received from the British Red Cross Society:

 

“15 Canadians – Sergt. W. Walker, 27678. I heard fellows say they had seen him killed in conversation, but I do not remember the exact one who said so. Quite a number said so>”
