A black and white 5 inch by 3.5 inch photograph of the officers of the 15th Battalion taken 10th October 1916. The 15th Battalion had completed its time at The Somme including the battle that began 26 September in which the battalion lost 117 killed in action and 223 wounded. The total casualty list for the battalion at The Somme was over 500. LCol Bent is in the centre row, second from the left.
