The Reina del Pacifico was the troopship which carried the 1st Battalion, 48th Highlanders of Canada from Halifax to the Clyde in England. The 48th Highlanders departed Toronto by CN train on 17 December 1939 and embarked in Halifax as part of the convoy carrying the 1st Canadian Contingent to England. They disembarked on 30 December 1939.
