The Reina del Pacifico was the troopship that carried the 1st Battalion, 48th Highlanders of Canada from Halifax to the Clyde in England,. The battalion left Toronto by CN train on 17 December 1939 for Halifax as part of the convoy to England of the first Canadian Contingent. They disembarked 3o December.
