Envelope C.A.S.F. to Mrs. M. Wishart, 54 Olie Ave. Toronto, Ontario from B72542 Cpl. C.E. Fraser stamped 48th Highlanders of Canada Postal Orderly 18 Nov 1940. Cameron Fraser, who treasured his role in the 48th Highlanders Pipe Band, would eventually leave the regiment during the war and rise to the rank of LCol. Yet, after the war and with the 48th Highlanders Pipes and Drums Association, he would sign himself Cpl Fraser.
