A Parade of the Canadian Highlanders

Canadian Contingent on Salisbury Plain

A 3.75 inch (9.53 cm) by 5 inch (12.7 cm) of “Canadian Highlanders have a mid-day refresher”

on the back of the postcard

Parade of the Canadian Highlanders.
The men of the Canadian Contingent are a fine lot, and in intelligence well up to Colonial form, which is usually ahead of the old country. Half of them come from the West of Canada and are hard fellows used to a rough life. Half of them are Scots and the rest English, Irish, Welsh, and French. “They will give a splendid account of themselves for King and Country.”
