Commander of the Order of the British Empire; a cross patonce enameled surmounted by an Imperial Crown. In the centre is the crowned effigies of King George V and Queen Mary and the words “FOR GOD AND THE EMPIRE”. The Neck ribbon is rose pink with three stripes of pearl-grey.
