50th Anniversary Parade – England 1941

Officers take their position at the slow march with the troops at the slope arms during the Trooping of the Colour 1941 in England. The ceremony and parade was held at Redhill, England  0n 12 October 1941. The Guest of Honour was the regiment’s Honourary Colonel, General Sir Ian Hamilton of the Gordon Highlanders. The army Staff list included the GB.O.C, 1st Canadian Corps, 3 Divisional Commanders, many Brigadiers and senior staff officers.  P1410

A similar parade was held in Toronto by the 2nd Battalion, 48th Highlanders.
