48th Recruiting Drive, USA – 1917 – Leaving Armoury

Led by the Colour Party the Units march out Armoury for Recruiting Drive in New York in 1917. The 48th Highlanders Bn, participated in the Canadian Recruiting Drive in Chicago and New York in 1917, inviting US citizens to enlist in the Canadian Expeditionary Force for overseas duty in WWI. The drives were held before the US formally joined in the war.
