Circular bronze buckle cap badge from WW1, front side has image of falcon head in centre of badge and inside the circle frame, below falcon head also in circle frame is: “48 HIGHLANDERS”, around the circle frame’s edge is stamped the regimental motto: “DILEAS GU BRATH”, belt buckle design visible at bottom edge of circle frame, below the circle is a scroll shape part with the words: “15th CANADIAN BATTN“, back side has two circle hook slots with a split pin fastener.
