2009 Gordon Highlanders Bicentenary Whiskey

A Gordon Highlanders Blended whisky has won four International Awards. Blended in the North of Scotland specially for the Museum by Grants.

Nose

Milk chocolate, mixed fruits (cherries, pears, guava, navel oranges), alcohol vapour (mild menthol), a bit of something floral (honeysuckle or white jade orchid tree blossoms), soft oak tannins, vanilla and oak char.

Tatse

Malt and orange oil, mixed fruit spirits (similar to grappa), a building floral note, green oak tannins, and a bit of espresso.

Finish

Licorice pastels, a slight chili pepper oil finish, and a faint walnut oil aftertaste.
