Pte Campbell joined the 92nd Battalion, 48th Highlanders and was killed in action with the 3rd Battalion on 16 August 1918. 201614 Pte. David John Neufeld and 204613 Hudson Cecil Campbell, joined on same day in Saskatchewan. Neufeld served in 15th Battalion and Campbell in 92nd Battalion.
