Gordon Charles Lloyd Clark, commission number 62419, enlisted in the 2nd Battalion, 48th Highlanders of Canada 3 February 1940 and was confirmed as a 2nd Lt on 15 August 1940.  He was appointed to C Company, 13 Platoon. On 16 July 1941 he transferred to Officers Training School, Brockville, Ontario, RCASC.

Lt Clark had served 3 years in the Cadet Corps, 1935 to 1938 rising to Lieutenant. DOB: 14 June 1919
