A 13 inch (33.02 cm) by 3.5 inch (8.89 cm) diameter sterling silver trophy presented by LCol David H. MacDonald to the winner of the Officers Golf Tournament. Originally presented on 24 September 1953. The trophy, in the shape of a golf bag was purchased by Colonel MacDonald who discovered it at a Birks store. The trophy, originally a martini mixer has a 48th Highlander buckle badge which MacDonald had affixed to the centre of one side. Atop the lid is a golf ball. Names of officers who won the annual golf tournament are engraved around the bag.
