Colour party for Remembrance Day, Nov 6, 1939. L/Cpl Peddell, CSM Elms, CSM Ashling, RSM Jamieson, Lt. King and Lt. Peter Bennett on left. The 48th Highlanders conduct a parade to their War Memorial at the head of Queen’s Park circle on the closest Sunday before Remembrance Day, Nov 11. They began the tradition the year the Memorial was erected in 1923. The tradition continues to this day. P1591
