INFORMATION DEPARTMENT,

In reference to your enquiry concerning Sgt. W. Walker, 27675, 15th Canadians, I beg to send you the following Searcher’ report which we have received from the British Red Cross Society:-

“Sgt. Walker was hit and his hand badly wounded and it was said he was hit again afterwards but we have never heard of him since. All the men in your list in F. Coy. must be either Prisoners or dead. I know all the fellows and we have never seen them since. There are only seven out of the original F. Coy. left now.”
