A 3.5 inch by 5 inch sepia tone photograph of LCol Bent on Fritz the horse with Bruno the dog, the 15th Battalion mascot. The horse Fritz was a German horse taken from a German officer captured during a battle. LCol Bent brought Fritz and Bruno back to Canada and his home when he led the 15th Battalion (48th Highlanders) home to Canada in 1919.
