A 1.25 inch (3.175 cm) disk with the ID 48th OCA 172 owned by Padre Stewart East, MBE, MC.

This is a wooden composite material developed by the Army Technical Development Board (1943) currently Defence Research and Development Canada. The Original set would have an octagon and a circular disk as a set. This is most likely the Old Comrades Association tag of Padre Stewart East as he was member number 172.
