The Sergeant-Major and Sergeants of the 48th Highlanders “At Home” on Wednesday, January 1st, 1919, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mess Parlors, the Armouries, University Armoury.

The card lists the members of the Board of Management of the Sergeants’ Mess: Sgt Maj JW Kirkness, WO; President – QM Sgt DW Smith; Vice President – CSM JE Lamb;  Treasurer – Sgt WM Duguid; Secretary – Sgt EA Collyer; Members – QM Sgt S Brechin, QM Sgt WH Farrant. QM Sgt T Sanford, Sgt GA Hodgson, Sgt HJ Love, Sgt W Forbes. Sgt Major Kirkness was the Regimental Sergeant Major 1914 – 1919.
