B73190 Pte Thomas Hardacre photo wearing glengarry and battle dress. date of death 28 July 1943; Pte Hardacre was killed in the battle to capture the town of Nissoria, Sicily on 26 July. Pte Hardacre’s body was recovered a day later and buried by the padre, Captain East.
