Closing paragraphs for inclusion in research requests

(This paragraph can be added to the response to a relative when sending the final and complete research of a Highlander. It can be modified by to fit the contents of the research response as appropriate.)

One of our goals is to place the service details of each 48th Highlander, with a photo, on a page on our museum system and website. This ensures his or her service to Canada is recognized and available to the public ongoing. That is why we do research for relatives for free. It is a rewarding experience for our volunteers.

If you have any photographs, please send us scans of them and we will add these to his page. Also, when you have his service records, we would appreciate key timelines and events which we will add to his record.

Our museum is staffed only by volunteers, and all operating expenses are covered by donations. If you or a relative wish to support our museum by making a donation in honour of your (relative), it can be done through this link: Donate Now – 48TH HIGHLANDERS TRUSTS (canadahelps.org)

Specify his name in the “Memory of” / “Honour of” section. We will acknowledge your generosity by displaying “This page is supported by (your name)” on your relative’s page.
