Sgt. William Walker – Memorial Plaque

Memorial Plaque: large circular disk with figure of Britannia, lion and dolphins; Has manufacturer’s stamp on the reverse, W; Lot number between the lions rear leg and tail, 36. The Memorial Plaque was sent to the widow, mother or designated next of kin for a soldier killed in action. It would be accompanied by a Silver Memorial Cross and a letter of Condolence from the King.
