An 8.5 inch by 11 inch copy of “The Red Tourri”-Bulletin by Old Comrades Association, November 1992
All members of the Old Comrades Association would receive copies of “The Red Tourri” published by the Old Comrades Association Executive to keep their membership informed of the happenings that were relevant to the time.
The 48th Highlanders 1st Battalion adopted a red coloured tourri on their balmorals while in England in WWII. Other highland units had a standard khaki tourri as did the 48th Highlanders up until the change. This was the inspiration for the title of the Old Comrades Bulletins.
