Miller at the Grand Entrance, at the Grosvenor Gardens Gate, or the Constitution Hill Gate THIS CARD MUST BE SHOWN AT THE ENTRANCE Lord Chamberlain” .
The name of Mrs. Miller is written in cursive with pencil on a dotted line beside the word “Admit”, and the signature “Cromer” is printed above the word “Lord Chamberlain”, the office being held at the time by Rowland Thomas Baring, 2nd Earl of Cromer, GCB, GCIE, GCVO, PC, ADC.
On the back of the card in the top right is stamped with black ink the number 3828.
