On the front of the dark brown wood shield from the top to bottom are a rectangular bronze plaque with words reading: “PRESENTED TO T.MOORE FOR HIS MERITORIOUS SERVICE”, a smaller wood shield coloured black with bronze sides with seal reading: “CANADIAN VETERANS ASSOCIATION UK” – the seal is a shield shape with a beaver on top and a maple leaf in the middle with the text going around the shields sides which are coloured red and blue, and a wood piece shaped as an open scroll coloured bronze with black text reading: “LIFE MEMBERSHIP”.
On the back are 3 metal screws and a bronze plate for hanging the shield with the words: “MADE IN GT Britain” etched in.
