Black and white photo of the mascot dog of the 15th Battalion named Bruno, who was adopted by the regiment in Belgium in the summer of 1915. The photo appears to be taken on a grass field with a large white tent and several soldiers in uniform in the background, as well as some barren trees. The photograph sits in a rectangular wood photo frame, under a glass cover, with a patterned paper border in the frame. On the back of the frame is a piece of cardboard held to the frame by 7 metal nails inserted to the frame and pressed atop the cardboard, and has handwritten text with pencil reading: “Festubert France 1915“. Also on back of frame is a string running across full width of the frame for hanging, attached to the frame through two eyelet hooks.
