CSM. Frank North memorabilia – a German service cross medal from WW1. issued to all German servicemen in 1914 as a 100 year anniversary of it’s issue in 1813. Ribbon is black with two small white stripes.
The cross is black metal with silver outline. The front is stamped with a crown, a laurel wreath and 1813. The reverse shows a small crown, a W ( for Kaiser Wilhelm II) and 1914
It was issued as a moral booster to the troops.
