Canadian Veterans Association UK Cloth – Pte Thomas Moore

Dark navy blue large square cloth, made of 100% polyester, and printed twice on two opposite corners of the cloth are the crest of the Canadian Veterans Association UK (CVAUK) with the years “1948 – 1998” underneath, marking the 50th anniversary of the organization. The crest is a shield shape with a beaver on top of the shield and the words “CANADIAN VETERANS ASSOCIATION UK” printed around the edge of the shield, the centre features an image of a maple leaf, and a parts of the shield are red under the words “CANADIAN” and “UK”.

Attached on one edge is a tag with the logo of the maker, cleaning instructions, and the text “UK”, which should mean that the cloth is made in the United Kingdom.

 

Note: The CVAUK was a charitable organization in the UK for the purpose of providing grants to support Canadian veterans living in the UK, and was formally closed in 2018.
