Basic Training Class – Aldershot, Nova Scotia before shipping to Korea – 1953

BMT (Basic Military Training) Class at Aldershot camp in Nova Scotia, posing in front of barrack buildings. 48th Highlander officer in centre front, two training Corporals on either side. A full company of course trainees were all badged 48th Highlanders for training before being shipped out to Korea. Four other companies, badged to four other Highland regiments trained at the same time.  The trainees were rebadged to units going to Korea including the Black Watch.
