This is the Bible that was in use in the Orderly Room of the 48th Regiment Highlanders since the first men were sworn-in in 1891 Oct. I have just used it to attest all the officers and men of the regiment 1170 strong for Foreign service at Valcartier Camp Quebec, Sept 24th 1914 in my capacity as Justice of the Peace for Quebec.
