Small, beige hardcover book with black colour centre binding and corners, cover of book has a green 4 leaf clover in the middle with the image of the regimental badge of the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery (RCA) in the centre of the clover, and half a sun rising or setting on a water horizon. The text on the cover reads: “6TH BATTERY C.F.A. OVERSEAS A.C. COX R. O’BRIEN”. The book includes various types of content including: photographs of the soldiers and equipment of the battery, a timeline of the battery’s movements and actions through the war, a nominal roll, and poems. On the first page is taped a small note with writing in pen reading: “5-2-19 Belgium Aunt Nell and the children. Lowe.”
Printed in Bonn Germany by Charles Georgi, compiled and arranged by Lieut. L. M. Firth B.A. in EIL Germany (neighbourhood of Cologne today) in January 1919.
