Waiting for the head table, Sgts’ Mess Dinner 1967. The 48th Highlanders and the Royal Canadian Regiment and the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment comprised the 1st Brigade, 1st Canadian Division during the Second World War engagements in Sicily, Italy and The Netherlands. This built a deep respect and comradery between the regiments and their members.
