48th pipes playing at graves at Lamone River – 15 Feb 1945

On 15 February 1945 the Famous Pipe Band of the 48th Highlanders of Canada, playing a lament for the dead at a memorial service held by the Regiment in memory of 29 comrades who fell at the crossing of the Lamone River in Italy on 10 December 1944 and afterwards between the Lamone and Senio Rivers.
