Green Cap Badge Allied with Gordon Highlanders (1904)

15th Battalion (48th Highlanders) left for England as part of the 3rd Brigade First Canadian Division on October 1st 1914.

They landed at Portsmouth England on the Regimental Birthday October 16th 1914.

1994 is the 80th Anniversary of the Departure of these men, who left to defend freedom; many of whom would never see Canada again.
